Vicky Canales Palomino es una escritora peruana nacida en Lima, en mayo de 1966. Es egresada de la Maestría en Literatura Infantil y Juvenil. Desde niña se inclinó por la lectura y la escritura de historias rimadas. Es autora de diversas obras para niños en las que muestra un derroche de imaginación y humor: historias rimadas: Travesuras, animales sin modales 1, 2 y 3 (Editorial Bruño, 2008) cuentos La bruja Malasú (Ediciones Centauro) A todo pedal, ganador del segundo puesto en la Bienal de cuento infantil ICPNA 2014, Líos en la selva (Editorial Planeta) y Tres gallinas contra un gallo bravucón (Editorial Norma). Su obra Paulina y la paloma de barro (Pearson, 2017) fue seleccionada en la guía de libros recomendados IBBY México 2018.

Vicky Canales Palomino is a Peruvian writer born in Lima in May 1966. She is a graduate of the Master's Degree in Children and Youth Literature. As a child she was inclined to read and write rhymed stories. She is the author of several works for children in which she shows a waste of imagination and humor: rhymed stories: Mischief, animals without manners 1, 2 and 3 (Editorial Bruño, 2008) tales The Witch Malasú (Centauro Editions) Full throttle, winner of the second place in the Biennial of children's story ICPNA 2014, Mess in the jungle (Editorial Planeta) and Three chickens against a bully rooster (Editorial Norma). His work Paulina and the dove of mud (Pearson, 2017) was selected in the guide of recommended books IBBY Mexico 2018.
